The hotel is gorgeous inside the lobby and bar areas. They had the 2nd and 3rd floors nicely renovated about 2-3 years ago. The digital locks for the building and rooms are a nice added touch. Overall it is a beautiful historic hotel.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here and it is always a very pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and well appointed, and if you need something, a quick text will get a quick response. We also love the fact that there are plenty of outlets! It is a struggle to find a place to plug in your devices in every other hotel we have stayed in, but not here! Someone had thier thinking cap on when they did the remodeling here! I prefer staying here than to staying in Cripple Creek.

We liked the old elevator and the mining town appeal of a rustic hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed hanging out with our friends in the large lobby. It was nice that the bar was very accessible and the prices were reasonable. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed.

Amazing period hotel. When you walk through the door you walk back in time. Why stay in a plain motel when you have the chance to stay in a location steeped in history. In a gold minim town. Victor is a fascinating place to visit and the Hotel is the centerpiece of the town. Room was modern spotlessly clean and well laid out. All facilities as expected. Good sized bathroom. Good sized bed and overall very comfortable. Do yourself a favour and if ever in the area stay at the Victor hotel you will not be disappointed

"Disappointing"
We checked in Sun. afternoon at 3pm and checked out Mon. morning at 9am. The room was small but comfortable. There was no interaction between me and any staff members except for a phone call when we arrived to get door codes and a text to tell them when we were leaving. We ate dinner at 6pm.

The history of the hotel drew us there. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The elevator was beautiful and we were impressed it was still working. It was fun to sit with the locals at the bar and hear about the town and the efforts to rejuvenate it.

Location was amazing. It was right in the center of town with mountains surrounding you. Restaurant wasn't open to the public the night we were there, so I can't comment on that, but the staff was super friendly and welcoming

The hotel was perfect for our historic stay in this sweet mountain town! Our room was large with all of the charm and character expected for a unique peek into the past with all of the conveniences of modern day. We had a large comfortable bed with pillow and blanket options for every person. The large picturesque windows were filled with a perfect mountain town views ! Very clean. Friendly staff with lots of local information to make our stay full of all of the experiences that only locals know! Exactly what we were hoping for in our small mountain getaway stay!
